Breathing in the fresh mountain air, admiring natural landscapes, and engaging in physical activity at high altitudes are not experiences exclusive to summer: even in winter, it is possible to cycle on snow thanks to fat bikes, bicycles with wide tires suitable for traversing snow-covered and icy terrains.
In Madesimo and throughout Valle Spluga, it is possible to go on fat bike excursions in the valley floor area and on the Andossi plateau on groomed tracks with appropriate signage, as well as freely in Isola and Montespluga.
